Professor Jayantha Arnold is a Consultant in Gastroenterology at Ealing Hospital, London NorthWest University Healthcare NHS Trust . He qualified in Medicine with MBBS Honours in 1980 and trained in Gastroenterology at King’s College Hospital – London, Princess of Wales Hospital – Bridgend and University Hospital of Wales – Cardiff. He has been a Consultant in Medicine and Gastroenterology at Ealing Hospital in West London for over 25 years.
He performs endoscopic procedures including Gastroscopy and Colonoscopy at Ealing Hospital, Clementine Churchill Hospital Harrow and Cromwell Hospital London. Professor Arnold’s research interests include iron regulation in patients with inflammatory bowel disease and trigger factors for inflammatory bowel disease. His interests within clinical gastroenterology include gastro oesophageal reflux disease, dyspepsia, Helicobacter gastritis, Irritable Bowel Syndrome and Inflammatory Bowel Disease.
He provides a comprehensive service for people with Gastrointestinal diseases including performing endoscopies
( Gastroscopy and Colonoscopy ).
